This all goes back to when the Goonz thought they had Tileman in the bag init…yes.

You should see all the ‘welcome to Arsenal’ vids on YouTube for our new summer signings

<laugh>

Indeed, the Goons are still smarting over Vardy turning them down to stay and win more trophies with a much smaller club ... and finish above them regularly too ...

Tielemans has 'reportedly' been desperate to join them ... but has borrowed HIAG's sat nav and can't locate London ...<laugh>

Saints signing some 19 year old French striker nobody has ever heard of but is definitely the new Henry

Also keep bidding for Rory Delaps son from Man City despite them saying he’s not for sale

What you need to do mate is keep him for 3 years, possibly out on loan, then put him up on the new signings thread once he's back, as the new season's 'find' ... <whistle>

Yes really Ponks ... even those that would rather not be, like Frankie de Jong ...

Here's the thing ... we would only have to sell if we really wanted to bring other players in ... we've reportedly received offers for Soumare, Praet and Verstergaard... none of whom were first team regulars ... yet they haven't gone anywhere ...

Tielemans has 'reportedly' wants out since the end of last season .. yet where is he?

Brenda said he was sitting down with Youri late last week to discuss his future ... Youri is then captain against Derby ... who knows, might just be for old times sake ... but you wouldn't know that from his demeanour... if he was desperate to leave we'd probably let him and take £25 million ... the reality is that he is not ... and so, we haven't...

I'm afraid your Arsenal reality is having to buy a much bigger club's bench warmer as your main striker... whilst watching your nearest rivals, with their CL spot, strengthen markedly ... unfortunately that's the football pond mate ... the goons are still a soft bellied gudgeon <laugh>

Racking up those bookmarks with the 'City reject' comments there Flos <laugh>

As for Tielemans, the fact that he hasn't signed a contract extension and doesn't appear to be about to, should tell you everything. He's still at Lesta for now because nobody had put a bid in for him. Reportedly we want to shift a couple of players on before bringing in any more. If we want Tielemans, we'll put in a bid when we're ready <ok>

I’m split…

Arsenal are becoming Man City Rejects

Tielemans will be leaving, either this year for a fee or next year for free

In Flossy's world Brenda's gonna make him captain, which will persuade him to sign a contract extension so that they can sell him for £120m <laugh>

He'll be leaving at some point for sure ... <laugh>

...not inconceivable that he signs an extension with a gentleman's agreement that we will let him go either end of season or in January if we are not looking like challenging for Europe ...if you believe what he actually says in interviews (as opposed to Ponky's "reportedly") he loves the club and recognises that we resurrected his career when it had stalled at Monaco and he was not in their then manager's plans ... <cheers>

No Ponks ... in the real world Brenda gave him the captain's arm band for the game at Derby on Saturday ... in your world he is "reportedly" desperate to leave ... contrary to any quotes from the player himself...<cheers>

Heard all that bullshit before from players, he only cares for number 1

Which might, of course, work best for us financially if he helps us finish in a European spot ...
Are you sure
Get £25m now or nothing in 12 months for a chance to earn £3-£5m out of qualifying for Europe.

More precise qualifying for the Europa and getting to semi final is worth £5.8m, finishing 5th instead of 8th, gives you an extra £7.5m ,so £13.3, in a realistic best scenario, so you'd still be £11.7m worse off, not including his wage bonuses for qualification.

You would need to factor in TV money from a future European campaign ... and also some commercial income ... but it's not all about the money ... otherwise clubs wouldn't try to hang on to their better players ...

Then you'd also need to factor in the whole squads bonuses, extra wages for the extra European games. But tbf, you bought up that it would help you financially...which it wouldn't.
For years club chairmen have been bemoaning the poor financial rewards of European competitions other than the CL

don't think those figures are correct as i'm fairly sure it is more complicated than that as it depends on which country you are from and the teams coefficient ranking .

Twice in the last 3 years Ponks ... 2 out of 3 is pretty regular ... please don't enter Mastermind ... you'd struggle with Bake-off instructions <laugh>

Since Vardy turned us down you said, that was after the 2015/16 season, six years ago. So twice in six years Flossy.

So tell me which club out of Arsenal and Leicester has finished above the other more regularly, as you stated, since Vardy turned us down ?

Take your time, as figures don't seem to be your forte here <laugh>
