We'll need to sign a decent defensive mf next to him if he starts with Bruno.

Not sure how that all fits together if we're going for De Jong as well - probably all about rotation with Eriksen's condition?

And what happened to Newcastle anyway? Where's all those Kaka signings?

Think our owners were more appalled by the training complex, stadium decay and other things before they even talked about the playing squad.

Approaching 100m already approved behind the scenes apart from the signings.

De Jong deal done between United and Barca, now Barca need to settle the €17m they owe De Jong and he’ll be a United player.

Martinez can play LB and CDM as well, sort of like Daley Blind so good option to have for us if he’s as good as EtH thinks he is.
 
Whilst I will remain eternally grateful to United for giving us £85 million for slab-head... I do think that, potentially, he could thrive under EtH ... he formed an excellent partnership with Jonny Evans at ours and with better players all around him he can concentrate on sticking to his strengths ...

Think they're trying to palm that 17m onto us. Got a feeling we might do it as well.

Wouldn’t have thought the Glazers would pick the bill up for old wages for a Barca player.

They probably need a transfer (buying) ban to be honest. They’re a toilet of a club.

Eddie would've in the past, not sure if they'll ok it for Arnold?

Only guesswork but looking like Lewandowski and/or Raphina deals may be linked to De Jong sale and that may be why we've gone quiet and playing hardball.
 
From the United board, 85m Euros. Looks like we may have agreed to pay it...
