That's on top of the 90m spent in January + the £50m+ so far so it'll be about £180m over two windows. If we can't afford Maddison so be it - we are in a better position this summer than we were last year and have a better coach, coaching team, facilities and stadium than this time last year.

GK, RB, CB, CB, LB, CM, CF in so far who all improve the squad!

The defense was the priority (for me) and they've gone out and crushed it. One more signing to cover RW and CF it'd be quality and in the long term needed but if we have to go with Wilson up top to start the year with Wood backing him up we'll be in a better place than we were after 14 games last season whatever happens.

There is no quote of £40m left to spend
The only quote was “ it is said…” but no mention of where that came from and certainly not from EH
 
Eddie states we'll have to be patient, I think we'll get someone in but it may not be maddison or paqueta.

There's no way our management and ownership should be allowing us to go into another season with Wilson as number 1 striker, knowing we're only potentially 90 minutes away from a whole season of Chris Wood....

I think your reading too much into how tactics play out in game day. If you have desire, if you have belief, If you're fit, if you press, if you can complete your passes and move, and if retain possession and if you have a striker who can bury a chance when given the opportunity you will do well.

We now have these things in addition to a centre back who knows where to be positioned and a lb who knows where he is meant to stand and a gk who can actually save a daisy cutter shot a central midfielder who would run through a brick wall and one who can create space, passes and moves and has a wand of a foot.

If they stay fit, we're in for a really fun season, if we get injuries we're no worse off which in itself is progression than under Ash.

You can say many, many things about Roland. But one that is undeniable is this: the man is a formation porn star.

I'd say desire, raw talent honed by a coach, passion trumps everything.

I'm certainly not "worried" about our season, classic nonsense

I have some questions before I answer this.

1) Do you currently have any fungal infections showing on legs?
2) are the shorts going to allow any seepage from previous injuries to drip down your legs?
3) Will you wear sandals with said shorts?

No infections that are known.
There will be no leakages other than from my nostrils.
Not sandals. They are for women. I will be wearing good old fashioned trainers.
