I've reached the point where I feel Roland has been spot on since day 1. He's ****e.
I do still feel he came in and did a job for us, but yeah he's just not very good.

I agree with you he did a fantastic job for us when we needed him. And for that I am forever grateful.
Without his effort quite possibly we wouldn’t have survived relegation. The sum of the parts suggest he was a massive contribution. No one. (Even me) can deny he played his part.
Now he needs to adapt and I think he can. He has scored 10 plus goals a season prior to the last for 4 years. So he has proven he can do it.
Maybe he just needs a goal or two. He looks like a confidence player.
Regardless. We need to sign another to put him under pressure because Wilson is a fart away from a 8 week layoff.
What Woods need is someone to play a 4-4-2 with wingers who cross balls into the box. The game has moved on and he is unsuited to a more dynamic 4-3-3 in my view.

I am not so sure mate. Look at Haaland. Look at the young lad we want Sesko or whatever. Ekitike was the same.
Clubs are moving away from the little stubby **** up front and more towards a strong technical target man who can play.
Wood is a strong target man. Problem is he isn’t technical and he can’t play.

Which is exactly my point. He's also a **** target man as he gets drawn off to the touch lines looking for a kick of the ball like a ****ing 8 year old playing his first match rather than sticking to his position.
They deffo thought he was better than he is. But it’s clear what we want. It’s whether we can get it.
Two things that suggest that Wood can do a job for us this season:
1. He did it year on year at Burnley
2. Joelinton was even ****er in his first season and last season was one of our best players
