Has Wood scored a pre season goal yet! Genuine question. We played Gateshead, 1860 Munich, Mainz and then the weird one against Burnley.
Scored 16/17 goals and I can’t see Wood scoring any of them.

Still plenty of time left, but so far it has been frustrating, even more when you see the likes of Scamacca moving to wet spam.
ST is priority and RW is desperately needed.

Not sure what to read into Howe's comments about the next signing being the most important.
I'm gonna go out on a limb and say I think it will be our most important signing to date.
From a quick online check, Wood didn't play against Gateshead or Burnley.
He did assist Bruno against 1860.
But I'm confident that a forward of some description will be signed before the season kicks off. I have faith.
Nope but Wilson has only scored once....i don't really pay much attention nor read too much into what happens in pre-season, it's more about fitness and getting the team to gel for me.
we could have 3-4 new players in before the window shuts as well so it really makes sod all difference (to me at least) what the scores are and who scores during pre-season.
