Trippier wanted to move up north it was really a case of perfect timing in conjunction with his personal circumstances.

Newcastle won't sign Paqueta or Diaby, but that doesn't meant they're not interested.

One of my many, many pet hates are selfy sticks and the prats that walk around with them stuck out in front filming themselves walking down a busy street with almost the rest of those in the street thinking where they would most like to put that selfy stick which has just nearly put their eye out.

You obviously didn't go to the right places! We used to get offered it while sitting in the streetside restaurants in Miraflores in Lima, although admittedly it was probably by undercover cops. Even had cocaine added to one of our rock sample shipments back to our UK labs. Common trick to add to a genuine package and then try and remove it when it lands at the other end. Had the DEA round the office there questioning everyone.

Remember my then Peruvian girlfriend stealing her brother's stash, as she didn't like him using and asking me to dispose of it!

He says tongue in cheek....They are struggling to get players in it seems. Having said that Erikson does have a lot of quality which they have been severely lacking in midfield for some time. He's just probably lost that edge a bit which wil be less noticeable in a Brentford team who also has a lot less scrutiny on it.

Agreed they have missed a player with top class passing ability since Carrick stopped playing. Pogba should have been it but was never consistent enough. Think Erikson would fit in well there.

Pogba should have been it but despite all the hype he simply wasn't good enough.

I bet its a good one as well. Something about Italy and food that just go well together. Love to see them rushing off to work but stopping at their favourite coffee shop for a quick but reverent expresso.
