Italy is on my list... Been close to the Italian riviera but not experienced Italy yet... Italy and the States next on my list
Beautiful country and really friendly people with absolutely delicious food.

Freakish weather at the moment as have been here just under a week and top temperature each day hasn't been lower than 35 degrees and has been 39 degrees three times.

Which part of Italy will depend upon what you want from a holiday but Italy has the lot. Think Turkey = Hillbillies and Italy = Class.

Venice is overrated and expensive in my opinion

Florence is lovely
Florence is my favourite city anywhere. I admit to not having seen most of the World but what I have seen Florence is way ahead of anywhere else for so many reasons.

But it's a classy brolly .

One of my many, many pet hates are selfy sticks and the prats that walk around with them stuck out in front filming themselves walking down a busy street with almost the rest of those in the street thinking where they would most like to put that selfy stick which has just nearly put their eye out.
