I'd like us to go after a crop of the England U19's-21's personally

Dane Scarlett @ Spurs (striker/winger)
Taylor Harwood-Bellis @ City (cb)
Charlie Cresswell @ Leeds (cb)

Them along with Yousofa Mokouko (sp) at Brossia another striker and the kids insane - think 16/17 atm but if we can't get the top talent right now why not go after tomorrows talent?

I can’t be the only one bored of all these ****ty twitter clips telling us who we can’t get?

Tbh I don't need to be told that, but there's many that do. They cannot accept reality.

Newcastles future is buying the top picks, but to get there they have to earn it.

They can all **** off <laugh><laugh><laugh>

I ****ing hate transfer windows :steam::steam::steam:

I'm enjoying it mate it's very refreshing.

I think the Newcastle tax is another problem and one that over time will only be eliminated by walking away.

Eventually the market will know newcastle have money, but they'll go elsewhere if you take the piss.

At that point deals get done faster and they'll save millions and millions over the years in comparison to being seen as weak from day one and taken advantage of forever.

I keep saying it newcastle aren't yet in position to buy players like him. Slow and steady and one day that'll change but he's wanting his next move to be to a club already at the top.

Newcastle have to find the talent before they get to that point in their careers.

T- agree 100% with chaos.

Our leaders have to be ruthless and not give into demands.

You don't just enter new territory without letting the people know who you are what you'll stand for.... You draw a line in the sand and make sure they've all ****ing seen it.

There's the offer take it or leave it

Finally. That's what we've been saying to you. It does not take 6 months to draw a line in the sand now does it?

Welcome to the real world

We've won boys. <diva>

No what you want to do is quit there's a difference

You let them quit.

You don't want to be seen bouncing around like a fanny

No, what I want to do is behave and act like The Boss. "We'd like you to join, here's our offer, are you in or out?"

If they say "Out" We simply sneer at them, grin and say "You'd better hope you win the CL in whichever **** 2nd rate club you join coz we're sweeping it up for at least the next 25 years .......Loser"

Then we walk away

No because you'll not give them time to yield.

It's called calling their bluff.

Newcastle don't have to give up, but they can change their mind and come back crawling when they realise nufc meant it

We go in with a time bound bid.
Here's the best we can do... 7 days the offer expires and we walk away.

That's better than just having a tantrum and walking away without giving them a chance to give you what you really want, but I personally wouldn't set a time frame because it hands them the power.. I'd just let them know I was close to walking away and leave it for a while.

I'd want them to worry we'd go away and see if they yield. I'd just decide when I'd had enough and call saying thanks but we've had to move on goodbye and mean it.

If you don't set a timeframe then we could miss out on other TGT's.

When I do deals, I state my position, explain the need for a timeframe for negotiation, get their buy-in... then we negotiate and a deal gets done. Some of them I've walked away from before but I accept that.

I'd also do exactly what our club is doing too and leak news that we are switching our sights to x or y player too.... just to turn the heat up.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea I'm just saying I wouldn't want them thinking they had 7 days or that in the future I'd give them that.

Ultimately if they want to sell they'll be worried you were going within a day not 7 when you put the phone down

Pressure

Or you could play your hand and still get the thing that you want.

That's how it's done

Either way you build rapport and you don't look a mug or an arsehole.
