You've dug yourself so far in to your "£250m over 5 years" quote that I honestly think its more important to you that we don't sign big players on big transfer fees as you know full well the more it happens, the earlier that £250m gets battered and you're proven wrong.
After all we're now over £100m without making a single new signing entering the summer window.
So to make this easier for you because I know you find facts you don't like hard to swallow.
The £250m over 5 years is 10 transfer windows. now having spent £100m and having 9 transfer windows left (including this one) that means our transfer budget according to you is now £16.66m per window.
I think we'll soon see the £50m a year bollox you keep spouting was wrong a lot sooner than you realise.
