It's got everything to do with it. You've dug yourself so far in to your "£250m over 5 years" quote that I honestly think its more important to you that we don't sign big players on big transfer fees as you know full well the more it happens, the earlier that £250m gets battered and you're proven wrong.

After all we're now over £100m without making a single new signing entering the summer window.

So to make this easier for you because I know you find facts you don't like hard to swallow.

The £250m over 5 years is 10 transfer windows. now having spent £100m and having 9 transfer windows left (including this one) that means our transfer budget according to you is now £16.66m per window.

I think we'll soon see the £50m a year bollox you keep spouting was wrong a lot sooner than you realise.

Here's the thing mate I make my decisions based on evidence and basic knowledge of the sport.

If you can show me any evidence to prove the budget will be more than the amount stavely actually told us then please give it to me now.

If not I'll file your post with the one that told me quite nearly I was wrong when I said the sponsor is still fun88 this year.

He's only one journalist of many that have backed up Staveley and the manager Howe.

You've got no evidence than your thoughts on why it's it's all not true mate

You've said £250m over 5 years is what Staveley said. FACT

Club have so far spent more than £100m - FACT

That leaves £16.6m per window over 9 windows (including this one) -FACT.

No mental gymnastics. We might not buy a player for 4 years and you will indeed be correct, but I highly doubt it.

Now as for other things.

You are the only poster who has the time to collate peoples previous posts and have them formulated to produce screen shots - FACT

You rigidly stick up for that useless twat Steve Bruce - FACT

You rigidly stick by the £50m a window theory - FACT.

Once again using his flip flop evidence of £60m to £100m knowing full well his £60m story is what started all this **** before he realised he was wrong and changed it.

You've claimed there is no budget btw which I'm afraid means your words are more accurate than put owners.

I'm asking you for evidence that Newcastle united have no budget whatsoever?

I'm not focusing on Edwards so much as I said his and other journalists are just supportive evidence


I'm looking at our owners very clear figures.
 
All I'm asking for is evidence to convince me to not believe our owners, Eddie Howe and every journalist on the planet.

How is it mental gymnastics? - Please explain. What I put was fact. £250m over 5 years, minus 1 window and £100m, leaves £150m over 9 windows.

However you want to twist it, that would leave an average budget of £16.6m per window remaining. IF Your figures are going to be correct.

Show me evidence that Eddie Howe has said what the budget is? Where the chairman has said what the budget is? where the majority owners have said what the budget is? where Staveley has said what the budget is post takeover? Where Dan Ashworth has said what the budget is?

Now the evidence I'm laying out for you is using your facts.

If you believe we sign Ekitike and Botman - We'll hoy that down as £50m at the low end for both. that's £150m spent in less than a year, without any other additions.

Now factually you will still be correct as they won't have gone over £250m in 5 years but if you're honest - it's not looking likely is it?
