Apart of me wonders if the length of transfer sagas regarding Botman etc is us showing we aren't just going to up our prices as clubs demand it, cos we are loaded, but will haggle away and be pain in transfer dealings sending a message to other clubs... Don't up your price just cos its Newcastle, because we will be moving on or haggle, we expect the same price as everyone else.

Well obviously. I'd never heard of the guy prior to CC's postings in the last few months but a decent chunk of them have shown he was clearly treading the line even when on camera. Ah well, innocent until proven guilty.
