There's going to this hiding behind every door for nufc and other clubs tbf.

I'm convinced nufc will get them both.

Same, the immediacy of the internet age means patience wears incredibly thin. In reality I have no doubt the owners and leadership will do everything in their power to get the right players as soon as it's possible. But it may be a long Summer because it's very much a sellers market and we've still got to play smart with budgets.

Sky Sports are claiming Ekitike could be having a medical next week? I'll have to trust the process, of course, but of everyone we've got or been linked with to play up front, this kid is 2nd bottom of the pile. No doubt I'll be completely wrong and he'll be a superstar, the next Henry, etc.

A handful of people ACTUALLY know. Luke Edwards isn't one of them. He has a source, that source tells him things, and he's got every right to go with it and print it. But it could be Ekitike doesn't want to, but the NUFC contact is spinning a positive tale. It could be he does want to, but his agent's a dick.

We'll see in the end.

Fair comment we don't know for sure.. I'm convinced both will be signed. This is the new newcastle not Ashley's
 
with all negotiations a bit of hardball never hurts.
personally I'd say to both clubs and any players... you have 72 hours to start the completion process... or we move on to other targets.
this is the correct way to do it and it sends a message out to other clubs further down the line that we won't be dicked over.
