I don't agree because you'll not find a player on earth that wouldn't see newcastle as a secondary choice to a club like ac Milan.

If they sign it won't make a bit of difference they'll have decided to join Newcastle and they'll play their best.
This.
Bruno was quite an exception. He bought into the project. Many other players will simply want to be at a club that is already 'big' in Europe and might happily use our interest to help inflate interest - and their potential salaries.

We will get good players, but for this window I think a lot of our intended targets will wantwhat they perceived be bigger clubs, offering champions league football.

Those who do join will hopefully buy into the project and not just be after the cash.

Give it time.

We've got no rush either.. You wait for the right buy as long as possible and the window isn't even open yet.

September 1st is miles away

I think so, he was meant to fly into Newcastle for talks on Monday and never showed, opting to delay the talks, despite agreement being reached with Reims he's hardly doing himself any favours whilst still courting PSG and Dortmund. This guy has known since Jan what the clubs intentions have been, has obviously continued talks all along and encouraged it but still hasn't signed on the dotted line.

The exact same thing can be said for Botman and his agents and AC Millan. They've known about everything since Jan, continued to encourage the links but haven't signed on dotted line despite agreement being reached.

Both deals its looking like we've outmuscled other clubs on the transfer fee meaning the clubs want to do business but the players still hoping someone else comes in and matches our offer.

If this is the case then **** em off and move on to lads that want to be here.
So the players are happy to see high income contracts remain unsigned so they'll get a move to a club of their agents' choice? The players must be rather naive and trusting. In Ekitike's case it seems rather odd, in that he rejected a January move to us for fear of not getting much game time. So he better go and try and move Mbappe out of the team at PSG?

I don't think his concern with us was game time, I think it was more that we were in the relegation zone. Whereas PSG are the giants of French football. These guys don't think about the fact they might not be selected, they just want to be alongside the best.

Yeah the reporting in January might have been not strictly true. Sounds like we should move on from those two then.

Once he sees we have Chris Wood and Dwight Gale he'll be on the first plane here.

Now the makems season has ended they're now really beginning to absorb nufcs takeover.

They're very quiet.

I read their board and I can sense the defeated mood.

Seriously do these weird nerds on youtube get money?

The guys that look like a nlohe you'd see working in B&Q claiming they've got a inside scoop every day?

Anybody with a youtube channel wlll make money through advertisements that get shown. it's like a crap amount of say 1p for every 10 views or something but the more popular a channel gets with subscribers I think the rates get more favourable.
