You're wasting your time trying to get people to realise what kind of player nufc can reasonably expect to sign this summer.

They have decided newcastle can just go out and start buying players ahead of the biggest clubs as of today.

They've been repeatedly told by the clubs very own Amanda Staveley that they cannot do that and it'll take 5 to 10 years.

They will spend all summer pretending she didn't say it rather than just accept it and see that the reality is still something to be happy about.

The Botman deal we may as well **** off reet now. He's as good as stated he wants the move to Milan and quite frankly as I've said before he ain't all that. He can't even make the Dutch senior squad and is slow as ****. Yes his positioning is great but I fear he would be destroyed by some of the quicker forwards in the PL. I'd far rather get N'Dicka or Badiashile who would be cheaper, stronger and quicker players.

Soo people are only allowed to want a certain level of player? Excellent. Please give me a full list of all players I can legitimately be expecting to get. No point getting my hopes up now is there.

I said earlier that under MA I would be happy with Sarr. However, is he Better than Almiron? No. Is he better than Fraser? No. Soo why would I be happy now? We have two players of similar quality in Sarrs position. Sarr is not better soo no point. Really is that simple.

Just because people are aiming higher than what we’re used to doesn’t mean that we’re discounting others. It also doesn’t mean we should expect the same level of player as under MA.

Go check my database records. Think you'll see I've said previously he's slow but had great positioning. The fact he has literally said he wants to sign for Milan and is pushing for them to finalise the move is enough for me to say "**** Off and don't darken the doorstep"

We're going to one day challenge for trophies and break transfer records, but right now we have Dwight Gayle, Hayden Lascelles, Murphy and Jonjo.

If we replace those players with player as good as Sarr Ekiteke Fofana DCL and Cantwell we'd be a better squad by miles.

Really we don't need one or two

Don’t forget that contrary to how Ashley did deals we will pay transfer fees over 4-5 years… so no massive up front outlay…
