I can see both sides of the coin to be honest, I don't want our fans when we're successful to be doing this 1 upmanship bollocks regardless of what side they took

I gave mine up to emigrate then when I came back I didn't get another 1 because I was fed up with it, so I'm sort of in the middle. And if I don't get a season ticket, which I probably won't, that's ok, I'll live with it, if I do get 1, great

I mean i suppose i worded it the wrong way a bit, when i said no respect for the people who didn't walk..i don't mean actually as people but in terms of trying to do something about Ashley or not i stand by that.

The 10k plus others who walked at least tried to do something about Ashley rather than just keep going and leave it to others to sacrifice something they loved for the greater good.

There's too many issues with such a narrow thinking though when it comes down to it. It show's either a lack of true understanding or makes you comes across as a wum.

Originally there was huge protests, campaigns against him, campaigns against his stores and he was scared ****less. This was the time for either everyone boycotting or everyone standing together (not over a decade later)

He said at that point he wanted to sell but would only sell for the right price. There was over 14 takeover attempts, believe it or not. Some that got publicity, quite a few that went under the radar. Some fell through because of the buyers, a good few times because fat boy changed the goalposts on the deal.

Some of those that you highlight - the 10,000. Well that argument is bollox, they had continued going for over a decade after the original campaigns started against him, they didn't leave because of Ashley, they didn't leave because of what he did with Keegan (the original issue and one far more deserving of hate). They left because Rafa left, and it was the straw that broke the camels back for them.

As a midfielder he has been nothing shorter than sensational

Bruce didn't know he was a midfielder
Had he done so ....... that's history and gone now

Yea i know, but better late than never and all that.

That's why i said a while back the true protesters were the ones who left after the keegan fiasco and didn't go back because that was the start of us knowing Ashley was a ****.

I'm not one of them as i did go back to the odd game but i did stop buying all merchandise, attended protests and tried to get at his social media online when that protest happened.

I'm not trying to sound like a superfan like it may seem i am but i'm glad i at least tried something to get him out, whether it worked or not is a different matter but the principle is the main thing to me.
