Yes but we’re clearly after other targets now. They were survival targets. We’re not after CL targets
they've had clear targets and want them in early and knew the availability of said players. Which is great but will take them out the running for players becoming available later in the window caused by other moves etc. Possibly Gerrard is happy going down this route.
I thought Howe etc were off this week and next so would be astonished if anyone had been brought in.
Another way of looking at it, is if we have several already tied down but looking at more players in their positions it's going to cast doubt in targets minds if they think they have even more competition for the shirt than they currently believe.

Not saying he's ****, I am saying he's very aggressive in the tackle. If I was given the choice of Badiashile, Botman, Carlos and N'dicka - Carlos would have been 3rd choice for me.
2nd for me, My first choice would be Badiashile. Kids fast as **** and think we need a fast Centre Back.
