Summer is going to be wild.....if we stay up. And I'm going to piss my pants at the significant price drops for certain players. There's no way we'd need to pay £50m for Botman in the Summer. We'll be able to take significant advantage of financial issues, we'll see where teams then end up (Lille being one), contracts will have run down and we should have a proper transfer structure and team in place.

All down to Eddie and the boys now.

Eddie Howe has got no excuses now imo.. He's had time and a large amount of money. 18 games to get the job done which is the aim of 17th.

Provided we stay up...

Botman (called it first, back in October, just saying), a striker (nunez would be ace) and a CM (need to think about that one). I can see that being our lot for the big buys (100 million tops).

Also Lingard and Tarkowski for free. A loan or two for weaker positions (LB/ GK cover) and that's a strong team for a mid-table season.
 
Now we have the money to buy almost anyone, I think we should sign Fodé Mansaré - just to please old Jimmy, after all these years.

Must have been about 20 transfer windows since Jim first mentioned him and I remember his name being repeated many, many times.

Make it happen NUFC. It would make Jimmy's day.

Botman, Carlos, Lingard…

To be honest though the fact we signed a 24 yr old Brazilian international midfielder, while the likes of Botman, Lingard and Carlos were desperate to sign, when we are massive favourites to be relegated, suggests I might be underestimating what’s possible. I don’t think I’ve really allowed myself to think we might be making waves but to hear the likes of Botman talking about what we are building strongly suggests those within football circles can see a very bright future they are all desperate to be a part of. Money is for sure a consideration (it is at all clubs), but I think all that confirms we have massive pull heading forward if we stay up.
