lol soo we buy a right winger to play in the left wing then we ask the question if the right winger plays on the right wing who is going to play in the left wing?
That's not what I said. And Diaby can play LW also, you do not need to be able to cut in on your stronger foot to be effective unless you're someone like almiron who has a **** weak foot and you cannot cross.
Yes it was. Regardless, he’sa right winger and if we’re getting him then he needs to play right wing.
Ok, so we're likely gonna need a LW, because Almiron cannot play LW, and unless we want to rely on ASM, we've got Murphy, Willock or Gordon as LW's, neither of which are great options for LW. Gordon hasn't shown anything to me so far this season that makes me excited for him to play LW tbh, and is it really that great to have both wingers cutting in, rather than crossing? That was kind of the issue at one point when we never had a winger who primarily crossed, and had Willock/ASM cutting in from the left and almiron cutting in from the right, and only Trippier was crossing the ball. Murphy has been crossing from the right recently and it's been proving dangerous and has lead to Isak scoring and getting great headers in on goal.
If you’re spending £60 to £80m on a player you buy someone who’s natural position is that not a guy that all the fans wants and then play them on the opposite side
