Even Mike ashley had spent around that under Bruce, do all of a sudden you'll be looking at an 11 with players worth 30s 40s and 20 millions in every position.

Tbh is it that much of a step forward from what we already have? One defender, one midfielder and one striker?

The transformation will be more dramatic than that.

I'm not buying this £60m budget as in £60m is it. Not a chance

I am however buying into £300m over the course of Amortisation over 5 year deals = £60m budget this summer and that the journo's reporting are too ****ing thick to realise it.

Bamford is ****, he's soft mentally and falters under pressure when playing in front of a real crowd and only did well during covid because of the stadium ban as the atmosphere was like a preseason friendly imo.

60 million is enough for 3 to 5 decent players mind.

A lot more than that if you take amortisation into account. Also remember this isn't the fat mike show anymore we now do what everyone does and pay transfer fees over a time period rather than all up front like that daft prick did.

As soon as I saw it I immediately dismissed it.

We've got the club saying we've got Ashley money available and the press saying
We're buying 70 million players

So in amortisation speak this would be less than £15m out of this years budget.

Everton are going to scrape through I think they'll win tonight, but surely they're going to have to wheel and deal Ashley style this window?

I agree with you. I just don't see where they pull money in from. They want £20m for that bucket of **** Deli ALi. They reckon £70m for the skirt wearer and other than that they'll struggle to bin off anyone other than Gordon and Richarlison.

The players are so bad I can't see anyone taking them off their hands if they were to drop.
