Yeah course.

We offered £20m for Harrison but it was rejected, he has a £35m release clause but I think £30m will prise him away.

Offer £30m for Toney as well, and I think they'll accept - he's clearly destined for bigger things, and he'll see this as a good move for himself.

We're quibbling about semantics there, and no one knows the exact amounts these days with all the "undisclosed fees" and "fees of around..." bullshit.

Bruno was around £40m too, and we only ever went over the Owen record with Migz and Joey under Ashley.

Well anything upwards that’s all I am saying. Maybe 40m is about the going rate for a proven player in the PL. He is 26 so prime age aswell.

The betting odds don't really tell us much other than who's been linked and who's punting on who.

If they stop taking bets that's when that changes I guess.
 
Pity we're not in for Charles De Ketelaere, only 21, Belgian international, 6'4" and can play upfront and in midfield. It looks like AC Milan are close to signing him ahead of Leeds but I'd still like us to throw an outrageous bid in at the last minute just to annoy the Milan fans again<diva>

ST and RW is desperately needed and CM. While inflated prices may deter us from Isak/Diaby/Paqueta, there must be less expensive options that would be a significant improvement over Wood, Fraser/Almiron/Murphy & Longstaff/Shelvey.

The Paqueta link has almost been manufactured by newcastle fans after he went to Newcastle to see his friend.

I haven't seen a single report saying Newcastle are going after him.. Just repeated reports they like him, but it's not a priority.

Couple not a priority with Newcastle's reported limited funds to buy 2 other players and I'm sticking with forget Paqueta.
