That suggests his preferred move was PSG, which is understandable, probably his agents preferred solution, the reason why he didn't want to come and has the added problem of making me and TT wrong. You can be keen on two things but not when those two things are diametrically opposed to each other. You can’t be keen on joining both Newcastle and PSG because one precludes the other. In that case the only thing you are keen on is leaving your current club. I find a player who would ask for a better deal from a club he doesn’t want to come to a flawed character. He either doesn’t care where he plays - its only the money that matters, or he is using us to get a better deal from PSG. I suspect that maybe PSG are trying to get him on the cheap from Rheims because the agent has asked for more for the player or himself.
Sorry but that is just wrong you can be keen on moving to two jobs and therefore in two minds. Especially if one employer has a stronger interest, but isn't your ideal choice. Psg obviously stepped up interest and he was no longer as keen to join newcastle. Newcastle did move on at that point, but you'll not find any player with psg or a top club being interested in the same player as Newcastle will result in either losing out or paying more. That's just how it works until newcastle are established themselves.

I've shown you proof that even PSG weren't interested on 27th June (story published 28th so giving you a day there). PSG DOF Luis Campos was only appointed 10th June. So you have been wrong for over 5 months and might have stumbled into a get out clause through sheer dumb luck.
