Telegraph saying Lile want £40m for Botman and we are offering 30.

Milan have offered in the 20s.

Weekend footy tournament at flamingo land u12’s
The footy was excellent, went to watch Rutherford u12 as my neice plays for them ( only girl in tournament)
The only bad part was the utter ****e from the scouse teams, no class from either players ( yellow cards and sim bins) or parents
Easington won and we finished 3rd out of 12 teams, but it was the beer that’s coming out now:biggrin::biggrin:
At Flamingo Land? 2.5 mile from me!

Positive sounds in regards to Pope, Ekitike - said he was cutting holiday short to complete move and he was back in Reims yesterday so that computes.

My mate just text me saying he's seen a twitter thing about Jose Font (CB partner) saying Botman is heading NUFC... anyone seen or got a screen shot?

Good player and would be a statement signing but what I always notice when watching him is how small he is for a CB! Just looked it up and he's 5'10 according to his Wiki. Very good on the ball and quick so I guess with someone like Botman who's a bit stronger and more physical in the air they could be a good pair but I'd always want my CB's to be 6'0 minimum... unless playing in a 3 at the back. Botman and Burn either side of this lad with him sweeping could be very exciting but then you lose a CM or Winger? Not sure how it'd work tbh.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG are set to rival Newcastle United for the signing of French striker Hugo Ekitike, 20, from Reims. (L'Equipe - in French)

Ekitike, however, is poised to fly back from holiday early to complete a £26.5m move to Newcastle. (Chronicle)

Arsenal and Newcastle are keen on 26-year-old Spain midfielder Fabian Ruiz, whose contract with Napoli runs out in 2023. (Corriere dello Sport, via Mail)

Manchester United expect France forward Anthony Martial to be at the club next season because of the lack of interest in the 26-year-old. (Manchester Evening News)

Manchester United are ready to accept around £20m for Martial, whose wages are putting off potential buyers, and £8.5m for Ivory Coast defender Eric Bailly, 28, who has been offered to Newcastle. (Sun)

Hmmm...
