Our 1st 11 is good enough but if we get injuries it's a big problem. Depth will get the club into the top 8
I'd rather sign the Chilean at Blackburn tbh, but I really think the scouts know better than me. I'm just embracing the change and I'm delighted the club is going to have a go which is all that matters.
And I said all this around the time. The man is a toe rag plain and simple. He just wanted his cake and the ****in crumbs. He’s also out stupid clauses in our sponsorship deals and the main one with fun88 as I alluded to @Thunder Twunt which is why we couldn’t do a nee shirt deal this year. The man did the same with Castore. These rolling contracts with breaks clauses meant that we didn’t ever get market value but they always got another bite at the cherry.
I also referred to the loan note for 17.5m and the legal documents filed at companies house. This being 5% of the deal being 350m. It’s nothing new. He even put a legal clause in to state that the new owners couldn’t slag him off when he went. And AS did but by proxy. It wasn’t intended.
Nah. He has **** all now. He basically started court proceedings off against Staveley saying she went back on an agreement with him regarding Sports Direct and Flannels signage at SJP and training ground. He wanted the signs to remain to the end of the season and claims that they wanted to see out the existing deal. In her legal defence she noted to the court that there was no sponsorship deal as the club hadn't received a single penny in advertising revenue and were owed money from them for the 19/20, 20/21, 21/22 seasons and therefor cancelled it with 14 days notice. Ashley has now responded saying SD were due to pay the club this money but never got the chance as they were ensuring the sale agreement balance sheet wasn't changed. Basically FAT BASTARD has been landed a haymaker in his court proceedings and now trying to save face.
Man City in for nunes so there's another reminder to the guys thinking newcastle can get those kind of players yet.
