Interesting that Tom Carroll played in the friendly against Arsenal today. Seems slight counter to the idea he is training with us just to 'stay fit'?

I know the idea of him and Amos playing together against physical championship sides is slightly laughable, but I can still see merit in signing him if the wages are low enough and the plan is to use him in rotation with the likes of Amos. The squad is looking a little thin, he's 27 with a good amount of championship experience, and his style of football fits nicely with Warb-ball. If we do sign him, hopefully on a 1 or 2 year deal to make it lower risk.

I'd prefer today's Patrick Vieira, but hard to find for what we'd pay probably.

David Mac's view of things...

Good read. He states there was an element of luck in things panning out well with Eze. I prefer to think of good fortune which, to me, combines luck and application. We saw what others did not - Millwall. The lad applied himself, the fans got behind him and, perhaps most importantly, he sustained no major injury.

Hope we can do it again. Perhaps Ilias will become the most expensive Chair in the world?!

Seems we've missed out on Messi, he's reportedly agreed a £623 million wage deal with the Mancky Arabs which will be 3 years with Citeh followed by 2 years in the MLS franchise. How they afford it on their gates is a mystery, FFP seems to be dead in the water but no one has told the EFL. Ever had the feeling we've been had?...

Not ‘had’ Super ... well and truly screwed over more like.
It’s a disparity of the classes within football.
