We’ve been 16th in the Championship for about a thousand years. It’s a good move for him. Gets to stay local and they’re one of the few Prem teams who might build around him assuming Zaha goes. A couple of years there and he’s a £60m+ player at 23/24 with all the big boys interested.

Anyway it’s all relative. You’d think twice about moving to West Bromwich too.
I would have thought Spuds or Spam might have come in for him? Oh well, that's life, we move on.

I really do think the bigger clubs have missed out on a bargain here but if its palace he wanted then so be it. I wish him the best of luck. Hes been an absolute pleasure to watch.
Shame we didn't get to keep him and go for it this year.

Seems West Brom offered £21 million but Eze wanted Palace...
If that's true why are we accepting 15M, plus 4.5 in possible ( probably unlikely) add- ons from Palace. Certainly don't see why we don't let this play on a while when more and more PL Clubs are showing interest and the window for PL/EFL runs for about another 7 weeks. Palace and us could be swapping Leagues next summer if we get a few key positions strengthened and sell the next best rrather than the best.

Because he wants to go to Palace, his choice...

Seems strange, when guess we would get a few million more in a few weeks, however I assume we have a few players lined up but need the cash to get these transfers through. Personally I would have risked getting players in 1st, as now clubs know we have cash to spend

Hope we have a massive sell on clause. Liverpool made a massive profit on Sterling, yes we got a decent amount, but a tiny percentage of what Liverpool made. Go for 50% of all profit

We shouldn't be giving away 1,5 M, maybe more if there is real Interest from other Clubs, which also may well come if we have any balls. On the other hand Palace may hVe offered a significant sell on fee.

If a player is determined on a particular move they usually force it, Palace met our valuation and unless a Top Six side made a last minute bid he's where he wanted to be. Players hold all the aces unfortunately...

Shame Messi can’t force A move to QPR

Sad to see Eze go, but glad he's going to a club where he'll get some games and actually play. Would have liked to see him for another season, but can't begrudge him for wanting to move to the Premier League.

As for this Messi chap, I've looked up his stats and have you seen how short he is? He'd get battered from pillar to post in the Championship...not for me thank you. Dykes seems a far better fit.
