Hmmm Tottenham have bought players and will probably buy more plus they don't have 2 games a week.

It could go either way It's a new manager look at what a change did at Newcastle.

No, no and thrice no.

They're losing a player who has over 30 goals a season over the last 9 seasons, plus he makes countless assists for Son.

They won't be the same.

So a manager can't improve a side ? You might be right , but don't be surprised If they do better.

Yes finally because they've been at for years, but they did sell Grealish I suppose.
That Grealish sale made it all possible... Plus they've been getting cash injections from the owners. I'm not sure what the limitations are on cash injections, but trying to find out for definite.

He seems like a decent manager at he'll probably do alright there.

However the simple fact is they're losing by far their best player, who has basically carried the team for years. Would be like us losing Shearer at his prime...although Kane is arguably better than Shearer, his goal scoring rate is far better anywhere.

Has it all been about Kane though ? I think it's possible they improve as a team by improving more areas of the 11.

I guess we'll find out and I hope you're right tbh because Newcastle have to defeat these clubs.

Simple fact is they're losing their best player who gives them 30+ goals a season plus assists. Really difficult to understate what a huge player he is to them.

Replacing a key player is difficult when you don't have Man City style backing, ie Spurs previously lost Gareth Bale at his peak and replaced with Roberto Soldado who was a disaster.

New era for them, so we'll see. I just don't see them being a top 4 threat or even a top 6 threat right now.

If they lose Kane it'll be a massive hit to their top 4 chances. They'll struggle to replace him in time and although they'll have money to burn in future windows, it'll be too late. Personally, I hope they slum it in the lower reaches for a while before succumbing to relegation but that's highly optimistic <laugh>
