Before I get pelters I think Gordon's got real ability and I love his attitude, but I find it strange that people that have lambasted ASM for his stats would disagree with the idea Gordon lacks end product.

Almiron got 11 last season

Imo Gordon has to earn a place.

Gordon is a young lad with promise who works hard.

ASM has been here for 4 years and doesn't work hard.

And ? Did you read the post
Almiron works hard and scores more goals

Yes but what I'm saying is Gordon has potential to improve and has the excuse of youth to justify his lack of end product for now, where as ASM has had more than enough time to prove himself and it's clear he's not going to improve.

Gordon has far more potential to improve with a better attitude.

I agree, Gordon clearly has potential, but he still has to prove himself to be a starter imo. Hopefully Eddie and team can get the best out of him, but I'm not sure whether he'll be an automatic starter at the start of the season.

What's ASM got to do with it ? He's gone ... I'm pointing out Gordon has less end product than almiron and will have to earn his stripes.

I sighted asm because people have long sighted his stats as their overwhelming argument to drop him and I've provided actual evidence that Gordon has less impressive stats.... I also said I like his attitude in my op.

I understand your point, but what I'm saying is part of the justification to drop asm and sell him is he shows a lack of potential. He wont improve, that's clear.

Gordon wont be first choice, and also if you're playing him you're playing him to improve him because he's shown potential that he will one day become a productive player.

Gordon's excuse is his inexperience, but I agree if he's not getting many returns he should not be first choice, but there's a clear reason we're selling ASM, because his output is inexcusable considering his experience at this level.

He was also posing for pics with fans at training ground this morning before being pictured pitchside at SJP.

Elsewhere Darlow looks set to join Bournemouth for £5m waiting to see if it’s us paying them or not though
I find it funny that Bournemouth have been buying quality young defenders and then think Darlow would be an adequate goalkeeper
