So the last of the bigger signings this week?

Just the wheeling and dealing left .... it'll be like Ashley times for a short time

What's wrong with you both now? What's wrong with tonali Barnes and a couple of cheap players?

I don't trust any link which says it's Newcastle but spells it as hiccup rather than hiccough. I'm not American, I don't like it.

Nothing. We don't expect the world, not by a long shot (well I don't... Obi might!), but to suggest it'll be like Ashley times for a while is negative gymnastics. Basically just rolling around on the floor with no coordination, speaking untruths.

Nothing, but stop with the "it'll be like Mike Ashley times".

It's nothing like Mike Ashley times.
Thank you. <cheers>

I just mean in this window once the wheeling and dealing starts.. the big exciting signings we've got used to will have to slow up for a couple of years.

So basically you both just don't like the idea Newcastle have to reign in the spending.

Second hand Saudi loan machine will need to spin up for a while.

I fully expect we'll be sponsoring the life out of everything. Training Kit (missing a sponsor since 888) Training centre, Club hospitality areas, bogs, Stadium... That will generate more revenue.

We'll find ways to offload a few. It'll be fine.

Good for him.

But his time here is done. We ("the fans") have moved on. Didn't you hear?

Obviously you haven't because you don't seem to want to acknowledge the money has dried up for a while.

It'll be a test of the new owners ability to buy cheaper players.

Who said I haven't acknowledged the financial situation?

You're just making crap up now.

You said it will be like MA times. I disagree, ad we don't have a twat as a chairman who is prepared to kill the club for his own gain. Those days are gone. Whatever the club can and can't do now, it will be with the view of long term growth.

Yeah, I get that FFP is biting, but please don't be an arse about it just because you're bored.

So who on here writes for The Mag?

https://www.themag.co.uk/2023/07/ve...g-should-sell-instead-of-allan-saint-maximin/

This looks very familiar...

"I saw some… interesting opinions online, amongst them was this one…"

‘Instead of Maxi for £30m, why wouldn’t we get rid of the deadwood below for the same amount (plus more wages off the books)?:

Lacelles – £7.5m
Fraser – £7.5m
Darlow – £5m
Hayden – £4m
Hendrick – £3m
Gillespie – £3m’
<laugh>
Those fees are insane. Apart from Lascelles the others will bring in whatever the transfer fee is for Darlow

I’m also certain the club have tried getting rid but they are useless and on high wages.

I think you need to relax mate... I get it you hate Mike Ashley I'm just saying they'll have to wheel and deal more in line with am Ashley window now.

If I'd not said Mike Ashley you'd have agreed.
