Great article and shows exactly the players we want and need. The effort of Longstaff with the ability of Bruno.

Almiron was headless again in the last third of the season and whilst Murphy got to another level, he's never going to be elite. Without Miggy's unusual purple patch early on, we'd not have finished 4th - but the fact it was unusual should cause Howe concern. I'd be really keen to get someone of UCL quality in on the right.

Schar has great ability, but makes a mistake every game, sometimes more than one. Lascelles as backup is far too big a drop off.

Targett looked awful when he came back. Burn is a great lad, but he's been punching and again mistakes were creeping in. No fault of his commitment, but there must be a better option in the World than these two.

However, we've (almost) signed one of the finest midfielders in the World. Isak/Gordon have another year under their belt. We will almost certainly need a left back and the centre back option will entirely depend on who's available. I don't even know if the formation will evolve, there were hints of Man City-esque changes towards the latter part of the season.

Is Anita Summer, Donna’s daughter? Did Ashley ditch her or something?
 
Tonali should prove to be an excellent signing, as long as he settles and adapts to the league well. This feels like a very good start to the window. It'll be interesting to see what positions we strengthen next.

On the plus side he’sa ****ing awesome player. Imagine ASM but with actual end product and consistently good
