But playing both of them (as you've set up) means both would always need to cut it.

Nowt wrong with inside forwards cutting in to their stronger foot. Seems to have been the plan all season and it worked well, seems as though EH has them set up to get players (especially the front three) in the box and allow the fullbacks on ball side of the pitch to provide the width and crosses into a loaded box (Trippier). Miggy has clearly benefitted with it and think ASM, Willock, Joelinton all showed how productive it's been when they've played out the left wing.

Think its the main reason we are looking for an attacking FB like Hernandes or Di Marco on the left also.

Indeed, it can work and has worked. It's just that previously Tash had bemoaned having wingers that always need ro cut inside, as it reduces their ability to cross the ball in. I was merely pointing out to him that his suggested new line up & formation would lead to exactly that same scenario. <cheers>

So rumours that Spurs will go all out for Madison as we're going for Tonali instead.

If that happens did we get the better player?

Yes, because we'd get a player coming for all the right reasons (buying inro the project like Bruno), despite moving from sunny Milan to cold Newcastle.
Rather than a player more attracted to the bright lights of London.

The bright lights of underachievement that is Spurs.

Super excited the scouts and Ashworth are off to Romania - a **** load of quality talent, that are the exact age range we are looking for, playing out there atm playing the U21's. Could be a few unmentioned players at the tournament they are going to discuss terms with. K. Thuram, Youssafa Moukoko, the previously linked Taylor Harwood Bellis and Josh Griffiths are with England U21's atm.

So many good young players....

I don’t think any of us were doubting anything
You mean you were doubting?
Which your not now
Which is good……I think?

I can show screenshots to the contrary, but I'm now in no doubt newcastle are going for it this summer.

Honestly watched “on the streets” channel 4 documentary, first episode was in north London, Tottenham to be precise.. looked rough as a dogs arse. Gangs galore.

A lot of places in London are a dive man, I don’t get the appeal other than the very main areas.
