Of quality players. Yeah, I read that too. It was still talking about x2 cm, lb, CB and a forward (who can play anywhere across the front) as that small number. With our team already very decent, 5 new players seems more than a 'small amount'. Also probably a tad optimistic.

We need two top quality attacking options. Attacking mid/wingers.

For CL - Gordon, Almiron, Murphy, ASM = Not good enough on it's own.

Winger - Szobozlai/DIABY
Attacking mid - Maddison
Left back - Tierny or Estupinian.
CDM/CM back up for Bruno.
Another CB? Unless we really want to risk playing Lascelles.
Another CF - Unless we wanna hope Wilson stays fit.

I thought Szoboszlai was more of an attacking/creative cm who could play on a wing secondarily, a bit like Maddison.

Also agree a new CB is needed. We've been linked in the last few days with a Napoli CB who has a £45million release clause. Apparently we've had scouts at quite a few Napoli games recently, but we are said to hold interest in at least three of their players.

They'd be the sprinkle yes and I don't see the policy changing yet.

The prices are ridiculous..... if they sign two top players they'll be around 100 million spent right out the gate.
