Kid looked immense on his first EPL start vs us last season and is probably only behind Chilwell and Cucarella there due to experience (not ability) and how much they spent on the pair of them, apparently his family are NUFC fans and Chelsea need to sell due to FFP (homegrown talent for them = 100% profit for FFP).

Yeah I've seem him once or twice but Chelsea fans being upset is great news and a good sign.
Newcastles scouts I don't doubt .. I remember arguing that Nixon and even Carr were not bad it's just they never got anyone off the top of their lists.

Not sure it's been mentioned here yet Kevin Zefi (18) being linked as well, another Irish lad, from Inter Milan - youth career out there so far is 31 app's 33 goal contributions across their youth teams...

I saw this last week on one of the News Now threads, is thought to be a real future talent.
Yeah I saw some Irish twitter ITK suggesting there is another young Irish lad coming in when Heffernan was announced and this seems to be the name that's cropping up, only a year left on his contract at Inter... defo one to keep an eye on.
