Chelsea get a fair wedge of that due to sell on clause. Partly why Saints held out on price as they don't get the full amount quoted. Sounds like it's closer ro £35m - and the £40m is including various add ons over time.40m?

But yeah, I definitely get what you mean, it's a lot for a young player with 1 full season and an injury record, regardless of his future potential. Bit of a gamble. Just hoping he's fully recovered from injury and no repurcussions.

If not, then yes. He'll also provide quality cover at RW if needed, as well as across the back line. He's primarily a RB / RWB however.
