He's only needed for the CL home grown club trained numbers. Hopefully won't actually be needed on the pitch, especially not in CL.It's been going on decades... our fans saying we've got dummett.. I know everything is great but I'm sick of the sight of him.
The clubs in the champions league ffs
Ending contracts up front would cost a fortune in wages. Would kill our FFP situation. Sadly.Dummett, Hayden, Ritchie, Hendrick, Fraser.. everytime I think of these players it makes me think of Ashley/Bruce.
Hayden especially, literally stealing a living. Just end their contracts man.

Plays like one too.Grow someone else... Jesus he's been around longer than an oak tree.
Plays like one too.
He doesn't need to make any verbal statement at all - he chose to renew both players contracts for this season. It was probably for the CL home grown quota in Dummett's case, but whatever the reasons, these contact renewals are proof that Howe still thinks they are both worth that wage expenditure. What's his other option ? He can't exactly come out saying those players are crap.

Right, he didn't realise their wages would continue to be paid when he instructed the club to extend and/or renew their contracts then. He's the coach basically he's not exactly running the financial side of the business.
Paul Dummet is not good enough for top half never mind champions league ! howe knows it, I know it and you know it.
Right, he didn't realise their wages would continue to be paid when he instructed the club to offer both of them new contracts then.
Maybe that’s why we sold ASMEnding contracts up front would cost a fortune in wages. Would kill our FFP situation. Sadly.
Maybe that’s why we sold ASM
He doesn't have the option to sell the because they're **** and on higher wages than the **** clubs can afford. They'll also be good little boys and not complain about being on the bench every week.
He knows fine well he needs champions league quality.
So get rid of the lot in one go? Fair enough.Maybe that’s why we sold ASM
He didn't need an option to sell either player as both of them were out of contract this summer - they and their wage costs would have been off to pastures new. However, Howe wanted Ritchie to stay, worked on persuading the player to do so and then activated an option the club had to extend his contract by a year. Dummett was offered a new one year deal.He doesn't have the option to sell the because they're **** and on higher wages than the **** clubs can afford.

Both were end of contract, so club didn't need to sell them. Coud have just cut the wages, but he wanted them to stay and club offered new 1 year extensions

No one argued otherwise.Let's simplify it ..... they're crap.
