I just wouldn’t concern yourself with any of it. We were struggling and signed Trippier and Bruno. We were improving and got Botman, Pope and Isak. We’re now in the CL. I’d be incredibly surprised if we ended up with any less than four top quality players.

I think PIF have much bigger plans than just NUFC. They won't see it as helping a rival if it all helps to grow the wider brand.
Agreed, looks to me that they really want to build their own league and what better place to start than the most over bloated squad in the PL?

They've just shown they can attract much better that Isaac Hayden, so why would they?
Just basically helping them get out of **** by signing over the hill players such as Koulibaily for stupid money, meaning chelsea clear the wage bill and escape FFP.
If we'd signed Koulibally 12 months ago everyone would have ****ed themselves silly
