ffs man this club...

i now dread the window closing as there is little time left to re-scout for players and i am fairly sure any targets will have been contacted/knocked back/agreement not reached by now, i really hope we do not end up in the same old position of 'having' to get players in at the last minute.

i am far too old for all this sh1t now, honestly feel like taking up oil painting or summit else i am equally pathetic at.
In a way I am wishing the window was closed now so we don't lose any of the players we have now. I pray that we get another 3 or 4 in but in my humble opinion it would be much more damaging to us if we lose Stewart or Prichard than not add to the squad.

Posted in both threads but valid in both.

Mowbray massively trusted in the game to bring on youth players. Could be a huge help for us bringing in loans over next few days

It’s true and I’ve said it since he was moored as coming here however, being in the North West will have counted in his favour in getting some of those loans over the line so don’t necessarily expect the same here.

You would assume this is a gambit for more money. You'd also assume that Mowbray will push for this transfer
Hopefully Mowbray will wander in, say look I know the lad, he’ll do very well at Sunderland and you will get a more hungry and developed player back.

I thought that the club had finally taken notice of the problems that were there and have been for some time but it would appear not.. Yes, they opened up the ticket office and the club shop but there were plenty of other things that needed addressing (My lad commented on the half cleaned side of the stadium ,nearest the ticket office last game) Academy staff to name but one. After this latest episode with AN, I'm tending to agree that the club is being run on a shoestring.. I base part of this on something Barnes said in a podcast I listened to yesterday. It would appear that the stewards who service the stadium on a match day are paid , I think he said something like £3.00 PH less than the Stewards at Hartlepool. Now that smacks of penny pinching at the bottom of a gutter.
That’s true about the stewards. They prefer to go to Hartlepool if we play at the same time.

I'm not sure I'm that bothered that we pay our stewards the same or less?

Should we pay our window cleaners more as well?

What about the plumbers who come to fix the toilets?

Some jobs should be paid similar no matter what the level.
