Yeah, if this is true, then, in my opinion, it means that they tapped him up after last weeks game to see if he was interested. They then send him more details to which he said yes. They then sack O'Neil and contact us to get permission to speak to him "officially ". He then says his goodbye to everyone and travels down to Stoke to "discuss" things. STINKS.
