It is my interpretation mate, maybe came across as I know for certain but I dont! When you think it through though it is the only plausible reason I reckon. Contract lengths or money arent a massive challenge to solve IMO. I am not convinced Alex is fully bought into signing some of these young lads and wants more control over that. On reflection I think this may have been bubbling behind the scenes for a few weeks as the window rumbles on and he isnt getting control over who is signed.

No one knows the full facts but we have one side ravenous for speakman and the board to resign… Why, we don’t know what has gone on yet.

The facts are Neil looks to have gone, he’s left the day before a big game and at a pivotal stage in the season. Unless speakman has bullied the man and suggested his mam is on the wrong side of overweight id say he owed us a lot more than that.

He will be involved but is just a cog in the wheel when it comes to recruitment. For the overall structure to work we need someone more competent in that role. He's made too many errors now to be left in such a position of trust.
 
Sky sports literally just said it’s not done. Reporter talking to Neil and apparently SAFC trying to keep hold of him.

Are they simply slow? Seemed to be real time reporting

Honest to god man I'm sick. I was only telling my lass last night how much we love him and then he goes and dumps us for somebody else the very next day :emoticon-0153-broke
