It is the same boy I watched for PSG U19s, moves the ball really quickly and will look to play forward into feet - the game I watched he misplaced 1 pass. He has played a few times for their 1st team so obviously highly rated
What is the level of their u19s would you say? I watched that highlights real and a lot of it looked like young lads and didnt look great, but I never think you can take much from them.

They are ok, the game I watch him and Xavi Simmons looked a level above the rest of the team. I watch them against Sevilla U19s who are decent but they did get beat 3-1 by Salzburg U19s in the next round - Salzburg are strong at that level though as most of their players play for their reserve side in the 2nd division in Austria. He played as a No10 in this game but I know he played deeper for the PSG 1st team. He needs to improve physically and his defensive awareness isnt great - both of these are common for young CMs though. He is definitely worth a risk

I think he will. He actually deserves a huge pay rise, been unbelievable since he joined and a massive part of our promotion.
I agree but we do seem set on our wage structure and no idea how that would match up Rangers. Maybe them getting into champions league is a key for them in terms of what they try to do. Blimey, I am scaremongering now. I just know that whilst everyone focuses on incomings it is not impossible you lose players you would rather not. Like everyone, I would do what I could to keep him, hard to see many better centre forwards in the championship.

Cheers mate, sounds promising. Be interested to see it develop, if indeed it is genuine.

Am abroad at the mo so not really following the news/social media as I usually would. Are we close to signing anyone? Seen talk of the young French lad and that Costa Rican kid but not pinning my hopes on either. Seems like the Brighton defender link has gone very quiet too….

The Michut project in Sunderland is really very interesting, it will be able to flourish so much with a lot of playing time.

As a reminder Sunderland is in the championship and will fight this season for the Premier League.

anyone think we will have any new faces in for the Norwich game ? or will this all drag out to the last minute
I don’t think Jewison will go straight into the team for Saturday even if he signs today. The only one that I think might have would be Van Hecke but that doesn’t seem particularly imminent at the minute.

I can’t get excited about the French kid (I probably would if I knew more about him) but I don’t see he’s what we need as a priority in centre mid. He seems to be more of a Pritchard or Neil replacement when for my mind we need another more disciplined sitter and reader of the game a la Evans.
