Moussa Sissako a CB who supposedly rejected us/move fell through earlier in the window now back in talks. Is this maybe the one Bob is on about with the deal being back alive?

Wasn’t this who that Brad Jones who knows nout said rejected a move to us weeks ago and could’ve just been making it up… :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Casemiro to Man Utd is a great signing for them. He will replace both Fred and McTominay in the starting 11 and allow them to play much more football. It is one of their few recent signings where you think there is a clear plan.

Yeah they need that don't they. They've become too soft, Casemiro will make them far tougher to play against now.

Only concern for me would be is his heart going to be in it, definitely going there for the money and he’s in for a rude awakening when he’s playing alongside McTominay and not Modric

They could sign the entire City team, or the entire Liverpool team, but so dysfunctional is that club, and so rapacious it's owners, they would still finish inside the top four.

This Sissoko seems up our street, a player with quality above our current financial station but affordable due to some particular issue, whether that be injury/forgotten man etc.

Edit - getting mixed up with Rupp

Sissoko even more up our street as he is young.

I'm sure some trillionaires will take pity on them and buy then. Jamie O'hara was on talkSPORT last week saying "Spoiled fans moaning after 20 odd years of success, that's why no one has any sympathy for them, so get on with it".

He reminds me of my playing Pro Evo back in the day with the fake player names. Get this one done and move on to Ryan Greggs. <laugh>

If you ignore the financial side of it, it's an outstanding signing. It's a top tier player that would get in any team in the world on a regular basis. If they still manage to get De Jong as well, that could be transformative.
