I don't believe the club are ignoring experienced players and only looking to bring in 'sell on' younger players. We've already signed players like Pritchard, Evans, Batth for example. We've seen previously what happens when you bring in to many experienced but jaded players like Rodwell so there has to be caution imo.
I agree there has to be caution but we really need a couple of experienced, proven players in the squad now. Mainly because they'll have more of an idea in how to see games out.

O/9 has done very well in two or three positions across the back four, I thought he was nailed on to be a top midfield player and the hope still lingers, despite recent evidence suggesting otherwise.
Like i said after the sheff wed game , he is a much better defender than he is midfielder i hope we keep him either right back or center back cover and maybe get another two center mids in this window

So many Championship sides are in financial trouble yet 'sustainability' isn't a popular word. That's because we all want action and success now. Sadly actions don't always bring success as Derby and others have discovered. I'd love promotion but not at all cost. I'm happy that, despite a few teething troubles, KLD is sorting the club out from top to bottom. If he'd made the club shop and ticketing world class, but we were still in L1, people would be talking about priorities and that's fair enough.

We're not perfect but we're miles better than we recently were.

I agree with you on the playing side, but our management of the ticket office and the shop beggars belief! If we're agreeing deals to sign players at whatever salaries they're on,how is it we can't engage competent ticket office and club shop staff,on the phone and in the offices, at what must be a fraction of the player cost, to service the needs of,potentially,40k people, who want to come to watch, support, love, follow and idolise these players and this team.?
Our fan history, and attendances speak for themselves. There are at least a dozen PL clubs who would kill for our attendance level! It's not like there was any doubt!
For every 10 year old now who can't get a ticket,is a lifetime of income, and support, just thrown down the drain!
I don't understand it!

o9 is more than capable at right back actually think thats been his best position for us since he came here

It’s RWB not RB though, being able to throw yourself into tackles is one thing and being able to double up as a winger is another. It’s like when people were saying Winchester was a good right back, I’m not sure what they were watching but he was having the piss taken out of him by average wingers most games. Just because he was getting forward in games where we dominating possession and chipping in with the odd goal people thought that he was doing well. I wouldn’t be confident of O’nein being our RWB and performing there when he’s up against decent wingers, which then leaves whoever we put in at RCB in Ballards place exposed.

O’nein was signed as a CM but he played in more of an advanced role for Wycombe. I’m not his biggest fan but to be fair to the lad he fills in wherever he’s needed and is probably someone we need in the squad due to that versatility.

I hope we get Ross Stewart tied down ASAP because there must be a few premier league clubs looking at him now, he is flying and has took to the championship like a duck to water. I honestly think he could do well in the premier league

definitely. just look at Kieffer Moore playing up there now. I think Moore is a cracking player but I'd say Stewart is better IMO

Contract is up at end of season but think the club have an option to extend so probably no major rush other than the fact his form will have people looking at him. Be nice to get it signed before he scores too many goals

If anyone’s arsed about watching just had a look at this from scoutsourced. Has been given the no.9 shirt already for Costa Rica so they clearly they he’s a talent. Looks decent for 18 but clearly he’s still raw. Always wants the ball, quick, a lot of balls into the box on the video that Stewart would be all over. Don’t think he’ll be coming here to go into our u23s…
