It’s some vote of confidence in Patterson if we are going for a clear number 2 keeper
Do you know if we're look outside the UK?
I think if anyone is expecting a top 6 finish might need to slow down a bit. I think it will be 3 - 4 years before we get there.
I see nothing in the club management set up that says let's do fast decisions.
All seems to be carefully planned and they are here for the long haul.
Personally I will be happy to see us make decent progression and keep the recruitment plan as they have started it.
Yes they want to get us promoted but will take time and make concrete knowledgable decisions rather than a quick fix.
I have seen this set of lads trying there hardest and we have no long contracted lay abouts as we have suffered over so many years.
They will get my support and let's be honest. In my 64th year of supporting the lads I have learnt to be patient.
HTL & FTM
Alex Bass, keeper from Pompey, don’t know much about him, but as always trust is in Neil
I sea what you did there
Not a bad kipper so I'm told
My feelings on this have been posted on here,
1. I'd take a no drama mid table finish,now.
2. Slight concern that we're starting a championship campaign with pretty much last seasons league one team.
Now we will sign players, no doubt. But patience is needed.
Had the potential I'd say. He'll do better with better players, sometimes tried too hard and made stupid mistakes, then pulled a worldie of a save off. Managed to oust our number one of the past few years and I liked O'Donnell, so somebody rated him
Nixon in disguise then...That Brad Jones fella is a proven completely fake journo type account. He looks for rumours or hints and pushes them as “news”
My gut feeling is mid-table but slight chance of scraping in the playoffs.
Might make a rod for his own back if he’s not carefuljust abit concerned about a Portsmouth cast off.
This isn't the plaice matevery fishy
I agree. There's a lot of teams more equipped that we are. Norwich have to be the favourites as usual. Then it's a battle for 2nd and for me, Wigan could be there play off dark horse. I may sound on a downer, but there's some, not all of new season ticket holders and match day goers that will be expecting us to just piss the league. All I'm saying is, I've been going over for years and nothing surprises me anymore. I hope I'm wrong and we romp it.
