It's a big call for him aged 24, he hasn't played a great deal of first team football. Surely the lad wants to play here after last season. Crazy if he ****s it off to stay at Everton, he won't get a look in imo

That's where a good agent comes in. One who looks after the players long term interest rather than a quick cash percentage for himself.

We'll see how NB's agent behaves. But that lad should move somewhere this summer. He is at a critical age.

to be fair to Broadhead, its 100% understandable he'd want to try to get paid what he's paid now. Its not his fault the football finances at the top of the game are ****ing mental.

It'll be one of the reasons it will likely drag on until end of window, as both sides seek a happy medium,[/QUOTe)
Your spot on but he’s also got to realise at his age there’s always a bigger picture and this is what he needs to give a lot of thought to

Of course it's not his fault, but he'll have to face reality. Unless he's going to move to another PL club,he's going to have to take a drop in very big money,to something not quite so big.

It was just after they were promoted that he was being touted about...Before the season even kicked off.

Cheers mate. It went on so long I couldn't remember when it actually started. To be honest, they did the same with Marcus Maddison previously, so I take links to Peterborough players with a pinch of salt unless it comes directly from us.

This Broadhead thing has the potential to drag on like Borini....we can't afford to go into this league with one recognised striker
Whilst I agree, our team seem to have been doing work behind the scenes which no press knew anything about. So I will give them the benefit if the doubt that Broadhead isn’t the only apple we’re trying to pick (as my granny used to say!)

Your Granny may also have said...never put all your eggs in one basket.:emoticon-0105-wink:

he essentially still has 6 weeks to make that decision tho. and for all he knows burnley get an injury to a striker week one of the season and take a punt at PL wages

as much as we'd like him in now, there's no immediate rush for him. big scheme of things. but I agree he can't be sitting at Everton picking his wage up this year, but waiting to maximise what he can get is fair enough

I think the way our recruitment is operating now, he's not exclusive. As I understand it we've made an offer to Everton for him, which they've accepted, and it's personal terms in negotiation. I'm absolutely sure we will have other interests for this position in the squad, if his terms cannot be agreed we will move elsewhere.
From his viewpoint, apparently he wants to come to us,so,if that's true, he's going to have to fit in.

I’m just really relaxed, from the outside looking in everyone seems very happy great spirit in the squad and I personally think they will all be desperate to sign on.

loved by fans love ya team mates and gaffa why would they look elsewhere?
