Wouldn’t have been one to get the pulse racing so can’t pretend to be bothered he’s gone elsewhere if we did hold talks I’d imagine we decided he’s not worth what he was wanting, or more likely he wanted to stay in the midlands which is fair enough if he has kids in school etc

that's what was meaning mate, loan then fresh buy but a player that was part of the leauge one team last season. So Billard from Arsenal is the only fresh face so far. Still plenty of time to get players in, but the rumours are there's 3 more to come. I sincerely hope the powers that be in the recruitment team have a few irons in the fire.

Not enough imo mate. That squad is basically last season leauge one team less Broadhead, Doyle etc. Not putting the mockers on it so I'll wait and see. I'll still be there though. I wasn't expecting a full overhaul by any stretch of the imagination as continuity is key

We have a basis of a decent team. I can see a GK, cm, lb, cm and 2 forwards coming in before the window shuts
I'd agree. I'd also like to know a bit more on Huggins' injury as Neil wasn't giving anything away. I think he said he didn't even know what the injury was other than something to do with his heel. Hope the lad gets fit soon
If we signed 6 more thats definitely more than enough otherwise we will have a huge. For example if we get a GK, CB, LB, CM, LW, CF thatll be 2 players per position

Still sends shivers through me now. i think that season saw probably the worst 3 keepers ive seen play for the lads...or at least very close to the top 3
I still think one or 2 will leave. As I've said, still loads of time to get a few more in, and we probably will, but other than the lad from Arsenal, and as it stands,that's last seasons leauge one squad less the loan players. Believe me, I'm far from putting the mockers on anything and will be there as I have been for the last 14 years.
To get those better players we have to be patient. I'm 100% confident in our recruitment team
we'll hopefully looking at players top end championship lower end Premier. Season starts early this year so clocks ticking.
Window doesn't close until end of August mate so plenty of time. Always takes that bit longer to sign quality players.
Think the only players we will lose will be sending youngsters out on loan and potentially Diamond & Winchester going. I'm confident we will have a really strong squad by end of the window. The top clubs arent sending their top youngsters out and reckon we will bring in a couple of top loan signings
The next signing is going to be a left sided defender most likely.
