Yeah it’s not bad. Good banter with the Boro consultants as well as they always spy the SAFC badge on my tie!!

They class Sunderland big rivals in Teesside mate. Its funny because every Sunderland fan i speak to isnt really that bothered about Boro.
Next season will be good banter for me, because all my mates are Boro fans

We’ll considering your username that’s no surprise <laugh><laugh>

Yeah good crack mate. I think this season a lot of our fans will see the Boro games as big ones. Simply as we’ve had nothing like it for so long.

It's a nice hospital tbf. Hopefully your new system helps them
Brilliant hospital. One of three responsible for saving my son's life as a baby (Friarage at Northallerton and the Freeman were the others. He was in at the time Boro were in the UEAFA cup final. Watched it on and off with the nurses on the ward surrounded by kids on ventilators. Strange time.

Yes theyll be guaranteed to bring a big support to the SOL and vice versa.
My lasses son is a Boro season ticket holder, so you can imagine what itll be like in my house <laugh>.

Getting tickets for the away game could be tricky. I'm a season ticket holder but still don't fancy my chances. Not sure what sort of allocation we'll get.

Aye, mine too.

However, I always remind them that their local derby is with Hartlepool :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Worked at a Seal Sands chemical company they said it was a derby. No NUFC is our derby. They didn't like it

Hope he’s well now mate. Sounds horrible. The illness not the cup final (well a bit of both)

Always thought that about Boro.

But now they are our proper rivals. That lot up there are no longer relevant, not a football club, and might as well be from the Upper Volta to me. We all know why that is, and so do they.

So it's Boro that are our rivals now, though they will never match that lot for self delusional and weepy , needy entitlement.

Haha Dar clo used to be their biggest game years ago.
They used to be carnage between the fans

I love Darlo, and their fans...

I'll never forget 1985...coming back to home from Wembly v's Norwich. We had to change trains at Darlo in the evening.

About 50 of us got off the train showing our colours. Considering we got beat, we received an unexpected experience of clapping and cheering from Sunderland, and Darlo fans who were waiting at the station...Darlo fans shook hands with us, and joined in the singing...

It was quite an amazing experience I'll never forget...

I'm pleased they helped save your kid mate. I worked there during that period. I don't mind the Boro lot tbh. Seemed to hate Newcastle more than us.
