I'm fine with Morrison if the manager and recruitment team think he can do a job.
If he was our one marquee signing it would be different but listening to Neil's interview he will just be one of a number of incoming players.
We know on his day he can add top draw quality to the squad. Just up to the manager to get it out of him
Neil will know what he's getting and know what he wants out of him.
This manager isn't stupid he sussed out the imbalance of our team as soon as he walked through the door.
I think we will see a fair mix of young lads and older heads coming in.

I don't think we have another midfielder that can do the job that Evans does, so I hope that we get a player, ideally better than Evans, for this position.
Getting someone who can sweep up in the midfield to let Pritchard and co focus on the creativity would be ideal for me

Is Tom Lawrence still under contract there? Would have hoped he’d be one we were looking at
Out of contract this week I think. Derby lad I know says we are one of the clubs interested. He will get good money, may even get some premier league intersest. Different level to Morrison IMO and just the type of player we should be after. I think we will sign Clark though, so doubt it is a starter.

I’d have thought he’d only want to stay in league one if Rooney was there.
Probably mate. Rosenior taking charge and he is very popular with players and fans alike. I dont know how Morrison views it, could be he is settled at last, no idea. I am not a fan of Morrison as a footballer personally, but he at least seemed to knuckle down last season. Derby fans I know dont rate him much, but if Rosenior wants a bit of continuity who knows...

Not a new transfer, but has anyone heard any news about Niall Huggins
Last I heard his back was healing but he'd picked up a stress fracture in his foot but that was a few months ago.
Had high hopes for him when he came and his performances in the cup were excellent.

Back in training by the looks of it. Photo of him on the club’s twitter today, fingers crossed
