Not because of this particular signing, but I do believe ‘Boro will challenge for automatic promotion. Wilder is a good manager.
I am surprised at the way they are going about it. I thought they were under financial rules pressure. Maybe spending Spence money before they have it. McGoldrick wouldnt be my idea of a top two signing though, but Wilder will know him.

I will be interested to see how Wilder goes this year. Was talking to a Sheff Utd fan a few weeks ago and he said he left them in a mess by signing substandard players on massive wages. Usual premier league story, but question marks over his judgement for me.

Reckon they will be around the playoffs for sure, agree about the mcGoldrick signing - works hard but lacks genuine quality

Absolutely.

The lad proved me totally wrong, I didnt think he was loud enough to organise our defence and thought he'd cave after a while.

I'm not sure how much Neil's style of football helped him but I'm full of admiration for the lad.

We have some good local lads here don't we.
Neils style of football suits any keeper in think, at times they play it out from the back and other times they go more direct, there is no pressure to constantly play if short

Reckon he’ll do a good job sitting in front of a back 4 with the likes of Bernardo Silva and De Bruyne ahead of him… He’s been superb for Leeds, especially under Bielsa and he hasn’t let England down either. We’ll soon find out
He’s stood out in a team that gives up possession regularly and, under Bielsa, played like a basketball game.
I think he’ll thrive in a team that keeps possession and where he has multiple options on each time he gets the ball.

This would be a fantastic signing. I'm a little surprised that Everton aren't looking to have him as part of the first team squad next season. He's left footed and good on the ball, so a natural replacement for Doyle and he's a big unit too, so should handle the physicality well. I'd be shocked if he ends up here, I'd expect better offers on the table for him.

It’ll be interesting to see how Forest do next season. Really rate their manager

Anyone know what Roberts drives? My mate passed someone in a grey lambo that looked like Roberts yesterday, think it’s pretty much common knowledge he’s going to sign on but if that was him then I guess that’s what they’re announcing.

Imagine if we go all Leeds United and announce a departure of an u23 player on loan :emoticon-0102-bigsm
