Yeah I’ve no idea about the lad either surely at 16 he wouldn’t be a first teamer but I thought the same about Doyle and happy to be wrong if he’s good enough!
I hope the first bit of business is done today. Get Alex Neil in and get him a longer term deal 3 years minimum.
I would normally agree with that statement, but AN seem different....he totally gets this football club, the city and the supporters....best boss we've had in ages and I include Allardyce in that
The reason he didn't get into the team was as Alex Neil said that he needed to use players fit to play in the situation we were in. I have no doubt that come the new season in the Championship he will start to play his way and with hopefully players that he wants. I can see Dan Neil being part of that setup.
3 years is average commitment managers get these days. We need to show him we trust him imo.
Only way I would keep the rolling contract is if he prefers that!
Gooch mentioned he was having talks Tuesday so I’d imagine Wednesday/Thursday think burge willis and arby will be away
Willis still relatively young. Not sure how but would like to tie him into some sort of contract. Cannot see anybody taking a chance on him but was a bloody good player prior to his injury.

Only worry is how long he’d take to get back up to speed, ability wise pre injury would have no concerns about him playing championship football though! Shame how it’s worked out for him

always wary of players who had one good season and got a big move then did poor there.
Still league one then possibly but not for championship, i get the feeling we will be looking at younger players anyway...either looking at a sell on value or 'growing' with the club.
Agree with most of this, but I'd sell Winchester, don't think we need him or he's good enough?

I reckon our retained list will be out this week now that we know which division we are playing in.
The club have to submit it to the EFL on Wednesday so I reckon we'll hear pretty soon
