His age bothered me as much as a player being handing a role on the board. All wrong!
I honestly believe there is some truth in this, I think he has left him out as he was less fitted to what he wanted and the rough and tumble of this league. I wouldn't be surprised to see him become essential to how he sets us up next season!
I am a big fan of young Dan Neil and I have to believe AN will make the best of him...
But just as wingers have to learn to defend and/or be wing backs, so does Neil as a midfielder, just as Thiago at L'pool does.
Hopefully AN will nurture him, his passing is great just what Stewart and Broadhead needs.

Imo 60/40 of him leaving. However, Championship football could see him stay
Probably about right for an English Championship player. Hope he stays and I'm putting 2 n 2 together.
The lad is a massive sunderland fan, he’ll not want to leave and I doubt the club want him to leave.
Im predicting he’ll be here next season and will have a big impact.
Jack Diamond's had a good season down at Harrogate too. What do we do with him? Bring him into the squad for cup games etc, or a loan out to a League One side next season?

Good point, I didn't see him on any pics. Just KLD, his mam and Sartori. Some said Donald was there but not seen any pics of that twat either.

Not many teams would be willing to pay £20 million+ for a player who couldn't get into a league 1 side for half a season. If they did I would take their hands off.

There was a few pictures of him with speakman a week or so ago. No idea if he is any good apart from his surname.
No way we would get £20m for Neil right now. We’d need him to have had a year in the championship to get that.
