Almost certainly. Frightening as it sounds, he will improve at City and under the Pep coaching regime. He will learn. When we buy him in 4 years time we will improve him even further...

It is frightening to think he is that good surrounded by players that good and coached by one of the very best!

I can see them running away with the league this year!

I got goosebumps reading this !

I think other teams fans will look at who we’ve brought in and be secretly (and not so secretly) jealous !

I’ve got two feelings back, anticipation and excitement for the next match !
This is going to be a great fun season. No pressure to go up so we just enjoy the games, but we might well end up going up anyway, and would almost certainly be trafalgar square again.

Just listened to the Speakman/Mowbray interview. Speakman still rubs me the wrong way when he speaks, very much "the fans are dafties and I know best" air to him. BUT, found myself agreeing with just about everything he said. One thing of note was his emphasis on how the club is constantly identifying and assessing transfer options: no more of this sitting down at the beginning of July and deciding who we should take a look at signing..

Someone said to me this morning that no player, since the premier league began, has scored a goal a game. He is on 9 in 5. If he continues that ratio he will knock Dixie Dean of his perch, never mind the premier league era lads. In all seriousness, why shouldnt he target 40 league goals. That would be immense.

Did you see the stat about quickest to score 2 hat trick in prem? Demba Ba was previous record holder with something like 21 games he has done it in 5! 40 is achievable for him in that team maybe more!

Had a quick glance at his stats and can't same I'm bowled over by them. Helmet on here, but I'd be guarded against this lad scoring 4 or 6 goals a season. Seems to have slipped through the net though and he might have a good maiden season in the PL

They spend enough cash . Mind, that said, Chelsea have spent nearly £300m this summer, And they finished four last year.

Tuchel shouldn't be sacked if he doesn't win the League. He should be arrested.

*sigh*

He's a suit. These guys are needed. Spit and sawdust gaffs, then the suit to run the business . Life

You can barely understand the man!

There are a lot of things going right mind, and he should take credit. But the less you heard of him the better.

" He was able to evidence his alignment with our values" That is part of what he said regarding TM's appointment, among other such similar stuff. Normal people just do not talk like that, and it would help if we didn't ever hear it.
