Love that the new signings give us more strength in depth. Massive competition for places too that'll only drive the current starters on to perform to keep their places.

Oh, and 'They didn't back me in the transfer market' :emoticon-0102-bigsm:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Baldy orc tit.

This is interesting from mowbray

basically challenges our young players to go out and prove that premier league clubs should be bidding big bucks for them

Subtle change in emphasis - all about bigging the kids up for the collective, rather than talking down their inexperience. Subtle nuance to Neil. I like it.

Enjoyed that. Keen to explain a lot and give plenty of detail. Nice also to see him taking the heat off the new lads - they are very young and coming into a team playing really well in a physical league, the standards of the main 12 or 13 players are already very high. Diallo may be first to get a chance you might think. Nice we dont have to chuck them in because we are struggling.

Michut would more than fine alongside evans with Pritchard further ahead. I don’t see what Dan Neil can do what Michut won’t be able to but if I’m honest I have no idea where the new signings are going to fit in after watching that performance. Gooch is like a new player this season he’s been quality. O’nein played out of his skin, as much as I hate to say it - it would be harsh to drop him. Would be interesting to see 4 at the back again with Michut/Evans/Pritchard as a 3 with Clarke/Stewart/Diallo as the “front 3”.
Never understood how some never seen onien was good enough for this division, he's a good player. Defence is definitely his position though

What do you mean by that? He's brought in his assistant as every manager does.

He clearly praised up and mentioned Dodds and proctor as being part of his team

Yeah. They will folder back into the fold. That's what mean.

Realistically he won’t be a starter once Ballard is fit though. And if Sissako signs which is rumoured to be happening, even further down the pecking order. But he’s a very good utility player to have in the squad, he surprised me today but Rotherham were awful.

Sissako looks to be heading to Russia unless you've heard something

Sorry. Think it's came across wrong. More the comment to staff before him. Token gesture etc. I expect the Dodds and Proc to filter back a bit
I disagree here.
I don't think it was a token gesture at all, it seemed a pretty genuine "credit where credit is due" comment.
I quite like that he did give them credit.
